The Institute for Lifelong Learning has a rich and proud tradition of being engaged in the local community. The Institute provides diverse academic programs and resources. The Institute connects with communities through service learning, community service civic engagement and community-based partnerships. Ongoing work occurs to create and maintain mutually beneficial synergistic partnerships among students, facility, and the community to foster resilient communities and lifelong engaged life-long learners. The Institute has student-centered learning environments that posture a culture of excellence and inspires learners to discover their passions and reach their goals. Our learning communities are collaborative and practical hands-on training enable authentic problem-based learning within academic programs.
